The White Sox had the bases loaded and the box score to prove they couldn't cash it in. One hit in seven tries with runners in scoring position, six men stranded on the bases. That is not a bad night. That is a pattern looking for a reason to stop.
Now Chicago rolls into Houston needing 8.5 runs combined to hit the over, and the same lineup that could not find a clutch hit last time out has to prove that was a blip and not a identity. The Astros do not need to be dominant to make this ugly. They just need the Sox to leave the same runners on base they always seem to leave.
